Action type #
Type of action to execute.
- Compress: Compress the specified items to a given format.
- Decompress: Extract the specified item.
Decompress #
Displayed only if Action type is Decompress.
Configuration settings for decompressing files. The default fields under this section are:
Format of the source archive(s) #
Decompress > Format of the source archive(s)
Specify the format of the compressed file(s) to be used as the source for decompression.
- SevenZip
- Rar: Additional field is available: Is archive password protected.
- Tar
- Zip: Additional field is available: Is archive password protected.
Is archive password protected #
Decompress > Is archive password protected
Displayed only when Format of the source archive(s) is Rar or Zip.
Enable this option to indicate that the source archive is password-protected.
- No (default)
- Yes: The Password field opens up.
Password #
Decompress > Is archive password protected: Yes
Displayed only when Is archive password protected is set to Yes.
Enter the password for the source archive if password protection is enabled.
Source #
Decompress > Source
Settings for the source of the files to be decompressed. The options for specifying the source for the Decompress action type are the same as for the Compress action type. For detailed descriptions of these options, refer to this page.
Destination #
Decompress > Destination
This section allows you to define the destination of decompressed files, i.e. where decompressed files will be stored. The options for specifying the destination for the Decompress action type are the same as for the Compress action type. For detailed descriptions of these options, refer to this page.
Note: The Decompress action type includes an additional field: Create Each File As Separate Object.
Create Each File As Separate Object #
Decompress > Destination > Mode: Vault > Vault Destination > Create Each File As Separate Object
Displayed only when Mode is Vault.
Option to create each decompressed file as a separate object on the destination.
Enable this option to create each file in the archive as a separate object in the vault.
- Yes
- No: The Object Title field opens up.
Object Title #
Decompress > Destination > Mode: Vault > Vault Destination > Create Each File As Separate Object: No > Object Title
Displayed only when Mode is Vault and Create Each File As Separate Object is set to No.
Provide a title for the object that will be created in the vault.
