Upon switching to advanced configuration mode within the Property validation rule configuration, additional options become available:
Alias #
Assign a unique rule alias for easy identification.
Value from #
Specifies the option for searching the value. Choose one of the following options:
- Source (default): Searches for the value from the trigger source.
- Vault Search: Searches the vault.
- Specify: Specifies where to get the value from. If selected, additional fields are available: Static search filters for Value from, Dynamic search filters for Value from, Search results sort, Exclude source from search results.
Referenced object #
Property validation rules > Property validation rule [1] > Referenced object
Displayed only if Configuration mode within the Property validation rule is set to Advanced.
Use this option when the property to be validated is not located directly on the source object but on a referenced object. Enter a property expression that points from the trigger source or vault search to the referenced object that contains the property to validate.
Custom error message #
Property validation rules > Property validation rule [1] > Custom error message
Displayed only if Configuration mode within the Property validation rule is set to Advanced.
Optional custom error message.
Business critical #
If set to true, the rule will be logged in SEQ.
