we’ve released a new version of Extension Kit for M-Files!

 

Version 4.8.0 brings:

• two new modules
• additional or improved features on 10 other modules
• bug fixes

 

New modules:

• Excel Writer

Insert values from M-Files Object properties by mapping them to any row and cell, or copy cell ranges or entire sheets from source to target file based on business rules in M-Files.

• Word Reader

Connect values from Word with M-Files Object properties by mapping them from textboxes, bookmarks, or from any row and cell in Word tables based on business rules in M-Files.

 

Some of the new features:

• Duplicate detection rules in Object Creation

A set of rules that defines actions with duplicate objects. Now you are able to choose if you want to overwrite, skip, or create duplicate objects.

• Create objects from the HTTP response in HTTP Integration

Instead of only populating properties within existing objects, now you can create new objects based on data retrieved from external services.

• User parser in Auto properties

A new group of expressions that enable taking login account information (Username, Email, ID, IsExternal) to populate target properties.

• New trigger: Object metadata changed

Additional trigger type Object metadata changed triggers action based on changes in M-Files Object metadata properties.
